The ancient masters boldly proclaimed that life is the greatest gift, for it is an opportunity to experience our deepest potential. According to the yogic and tantric traditions, the key to this inner blossoming lies at the confluence of mantra shakti and prana shakti. While these terms have increasingly entered our awareness as modern practitioners, beneath the surface lies a vast ocean of ancient wisdom and direct experience that can help us unveil their mystery.

Both mantra and prana shakti are vibrant living realities, and embodiments of the dynamic power of consciousness itself. Experiencing each in relation to the other allows us to find their confluence and use this to awaken our own inner potential. In this experiential retreat, we’ll explore the dynamics of mantra and prana shakti as revealed through Vishoka Meditation and Sri Sukta.

This retreat is open to practitioners of all levels. It is well suited for asana practitioners who are inspired to deepen their experience through meditation and mantra recitation. Those who are already familiar with Vishoka Meditation or Sri Sukta will learn valuable refinements and how these practices intersect and support each other.

The program is €420 for all 3 days and €320 for 2 days.

Key Highlights
  • A series of guided practices of Vishoka Meditation and supportive practices of pranically-oriented asana, meditative pranayamas, and shavasana-based pranic practices.
  • Explore the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali as source wisdom of Vishoka Meditation, and explore key sutras which shed light on the mystery of prana.
  • We’ll apply the vibrancy of prana shakti to illuminate our practice of Sri Sukta, an ancient cluster of 16 mantras invoking our divine potential of inner prosperity and radiance.
  • We’ll begin with exploring a classical understanding of mantra shakti, and then introduce Sri Sukta in that context.
  • For those who are new to Sri Sukta, we’ll cover its pronunciation and meaning so you can begin to learn these mantras.
  • For those who already practice Sri Sukta, we’ll work on refinements, focused on pronunciation nuances, and then focus on understanding the deeper meaning of these living mantras.
